As the Beijing Summer Olympics 2008 kick off in only a few days, we took to the street to see if people will be watching come August 8th, and to see if China’s touchy human rights record will affect their decision.

Yes, I’m definitely going to watch the Olympics for this reason. I am a true sports fan and the only events I’m going to
watch are basketball and the track events. As far as watching swimming, gymnastic and the other events, I think they are kind of dull. My views as far as controversy? They should be left out of sports. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

Like any other majour sporting event, I’m just not able to get into the Olympics; China controversy not withstanding.

BOYCOTT THE Olympics !! Anyone that think the Olympics are only sports has never watched any of the judged events. The Olympics is all about politics.
