Day one of Comic Con 2008 is over, and here’s our wrap-up of Mahalo Daily’s coverage from the show floor. We hit up the “Masters of the Web” panel, featuring footage from “Fanboys“, interviewed the cast behind the new “Knight Rider” series, and cornered Brian Taylor, writer/director of the Crank series on the sequel to the action packed film. Robert Rodriguez was on his Red Sonja panel, Felicia Day spoke to us about Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long blog, and Clark Duke spoke to us about “Sex Drive”. Finally, it wouldn’t be a Comic Con without Stan Lee, and our very own Leah D’Emilio was at his panel to ask him a very important question.

This week in YouTube, Leah D’Emilio and Lon Harris show you a presidential candidate who can shoot hoops, a presidential candidate who can’t read maps, and a Guitarist who can shred (all related). This week also saw a record holder for most clothing changes in one minute, a Japanese anti-anxiety DVD, and a tribute to Ewoks by none other than the guy who played Lando Calrissian, Billy Dee Williams. Finally, Germany took on an extreme catapulting challenge, and Terminator Salvation got a trailer. That’s the week in YouTube, which we watch, so you don’t have to.

I would like to see a feature about small press exhibitors, like Steam Crow Press, or about Web Comics publishers, like Halfpixel or PVP Online. There are a lot of small guys that would benefit from being featured on your podcast and I would be interested in hearing about things that I don’t already know.

Cool interviews. It’s too bad the sound was completely off sync.

I like that Obama can make a 3 point shot. Really necessary for a president. However he thinks there are 57 states. Why don’t you point that out as a geography lesson.
McCain mis-spoke Iran when he meant Irag. A one letter difference that can easily be transposed and you feel the need to Exaggerate it.
The news media seems to want to make Obama Pope. I like the way you go out of you way to support a man surrounded by racist and blame America first people. You over look that and his total lack of experience and his inability to admit when he is wrong. Just because of a hatred for Bush.
I’m not a fan of McCain but he may be the first Republican Presidential candidate I’ve voted for.

If you could get anything from Steven Moffat, or from any of the other people from the Doctor Who panel, that would be great!
