MD167 - Deep Sea Fishing on the New Del Mar

Leah D’Emilio gets her sea legs on board Marina del Rey Sport Fishing’s New Del Mar in today’s Deep Sea Fishing, where she learns the basics of sport fishing from fishing expert and New Del Mar deckhand, Victor. Leah also talks to Captain Danny Ericson about the problem of overfishing, how fishing regulations work, and using sonar to find shoals of fish. With her newfound skills, Leah manages to reel in a salmon grouper by the end of the shoot, which made for a tasty supper that evening.

Lol nice catch. Did you really leave Lon out of the fish dinner though? That’d be mean. He spends a day picking up trash and you spend a day fishing? I sense a sexist double standard? Lol j/k Great episode. Almost makes me want to go out fishing!

Wow! That looked like fun. I’m not a fisherman, I’ll leave that up to the pros and Leah when it comes down to catching fish. Great job, Leah, but you kind of felt sorry for Lon.

Great catch Mahalo! She is definitely a keeper. I like the beginning and ending with Lon. It makes the episode informational and funney.

Great episode! It almost started to drag on a some parts, but you all broke it up nicely to keep it interesting.
