    Parodies = Podcast GOLD!

    Keep ‘em coming MD ;)

  2. D Fuller Says:

Ron saved that episode from the toilet. Wasn’t really very informative.

The first “psychic” was very laughable as she “talked” to the dogs. Oh please….

  3. robert Says:

What’s with the constant - this video is no longer available!?

  4. GMD Says:

    Can we fix this please……

  5. I'm Tryin' Says:

I’m tryin’ to be loayl Your site does not work MORE than it does. The video is not available appears, as usual. I don’t have this problem at Google.

  6. Gabe the Babe Says:

Glad to see Lon and Leah back to work. As for the episode…I’m not a dog lover.

  7. 8forty Says:

Nice slice of CA culture. Lon was funny, kooky psychic lady was funny.

  8. Thatcher featured in today’s Mahalo Daily | Sample the Web Says:

[...] Minister Thatcher is featured in today’s Mahalo Daily, where she gets interviewed by a pet psychic and meets a dog handler: And just in case the YouTube [...]

  11. juliepin Says:

Leah, congratulations on keeping a straight face!

  12. David Says:

My dog just whispered in my ear and told me that this episode wasn’t up to the regular Mahalo standards.

  13. Mike Caudill Says:

    Liked the “Plan 9″ reference.

Did Leah wear the brown hat and big dangling earrings to look like a dog? -although a very a cute dog.

  14. HuntingwithJim Says:

Mahalo Daily I love you….but booooring!

    animal communication = retarded
Doggie Manners = Ms. Captain Obvious.

  15. Larry M Says:

I didn’t care for the topic; however, Lon was brilliant :)

  16. Jura Says:

The “doggie psychic” was about as interesting and real as any other “psychic.” The dog trainer lady was far better in her information, and actually getting results.

All in all a pretty good episode, made all the better by the PeeWee’s Big Adventure reference at the end. I can’t believe I even remembered that.

  17. The basement at the Alamo Says:

Highly inaccurate. Everyone knows that there is no basement at the Alamo.

  18. Rocks Says:

I am sure Jason kept Taurus and Fondue away from this animal psychic. Lon and Leah, glad to see you back.

  19. Kevin M. Says:

Basement at the Alamo? Nice Pee Wee’s Big Adventure reference and way to redeem the episode. Nothing you guys did, however. Reginah Perlmutter looked familiar to me. Alas, apparently she’d already been made to look a fool on Penn & Teller: Bullshit! on an episode from Season 2 that showed tarot readings to be little more than people reading (ep. 207: Yoga/Tantric Sex). She was the second tarot reader. Apparently after that, she’s progressed to subjects that can’t contradict her as easily. Notice her misuse of the term “scientific” to lend her practice an air of legitimacy.

  21. Franz Says:

Leah, I have no idea how you kept a straight face through boring, crazy, psychic lady. Dog trainer was somewhat interesting, but not a great episode. Lon, good attempted save with the outro.

  22. joan Says:

I appreciated the fact that there were attached mics..and Leah didn’t have that awkward back and forth with the hand microphone, which, in my opinion, always kept her from being completely natural and was a distraction to the interview.

Another great interview.. I am a dog lover and although I don’t buy into the dog psychic thing, it’s still a quirky pop culture video which is fun ~

Love Leah.. she only gets better..

  23. I'm Tryin' Says:

Jason, Thanks for the link. Lon is very funny.

  24. Carlos Says:

@ Franz: The answer is quite simple: Leah is a great journalist, objective and very professional. I bet that she’s not buying any of this psychic crap but still she can keep an straight face showing respect for her guest.
On the other hand Leah, woman, you are absolutely gorgeous! You could replace any model in any campaign with no sweat. Witty and beautiful, definitely Mahalo staff struck on pure gold with you.

  25. jpdeleon Says:

    Leah, you are beautiful !!
Lon, you are a great host and comedian…

    Mahalo is great…, Cheers !!

  26. master1228 Says:

I don’t want to give you guys (and gals) a bad rating, I normally really enjoy your shows, but this episode was a bit of a snooze, animal psychics are lame.

    Normally a big fan

  27. Mike Says:

Next time leave out the psychic crackpots. If you had just had an interview with the animal trainer, it would have been 100% better.

Thatcher is cute BTW. Whose dog is it?

  28. Greg Says:

This episode did not fit with the usual how-to nature of Mahalo Daily (excepting the YouTube episodes on Friday–which I love). I did not like how unscientific the episode was, particularly the new age “listening to what the dogs feel” at the beginning of the show. Please stick to episodes like the Sanitation Worker or Sailing that focus on a real-world topic about which many people are ignorant.

  29. Mark Says:

Leah looks stylish (in second half of episode). :)

  30. Dog Boarding Kennels Melbourne Says:

It’s a great way to communicate effectively to our dogs. Certainly great for dog trainers out there.
