  14. BTGoss Says:

    Really?
    This guy?
I mean he is really unfunny.
Tom Green is funnier then the guy working that puppet.
Can we please stop giving this guy any internet time.
    Please.
Show more people getting hit in the nads or something.
    Anything.
    Grass growing.
Paint peeling… anything OTHER then that effin’ puppet guy.

  15. Joel Says:

This is the episode that caused me to finally unsubscribe from Mahalo Daily. The repeated cursing is inappropriate and offensive. I really liked Mahalo Daily. I learned about a lot of fun stuff.

During the search for a new host for Mahalo the judges expressed a concern about the Mahalo name and how the new host would represent it. It seems that the owners were not that worried since they are willing to offend people of faith who would find the misuse of Jesus’ name offensive. This episode could have been one of my favorites if not for the offensive content.

If the cussing and cursing is removed from future shows I would be happy to return to the fun and information but for now I will move on.

  16. Mike Caudill Says:

Well this episode sustains my belief that Mahalo is one of the best entertainment/news programs found anywhere.
Is Shel Israel done by Loren Feldman? He’s as good as Robert Smigel’s “Triumph.”

  17. Galley Says:

That was hilarious! Two years from now whiteboard puppetry will be all the rage, but remember you saw it here first!

  18. Bruce Curley Says:

    This is great stuff!
Steve Meltzer, pupet guy…who knew? He’s a national treasure because his kind of imagination is so hard to find.

  19. Verbal Kint Says:

Is it me or was this guy trying to be offensive to all Christians? He used Jesus as an expletive so many times I was overwhelmed. Suppose we turn it around and instead of using the word Jesus, we used another word like say Buddha! Or perhaps Gandhi. For that matter, there are a host of words that are way too sensitive to be uttered on a good and sensitive place like Mahalo. Why does political correctness say we can’t offend gays, blacks, native Americans, (you name it), but when it comes to Christians, tough buggers. They are fair game.

I get that Mahalo is run by folks who are on the left side of the street. Heck that’s California, and for that matter a lot of the tech world. What surprises me is when things like this show up and illustrate the total lack of concern for appearing to care. You see I thought you guys were better than this. It was one thing when Obama was assumed to be the good guy during the man on the street interviews of VLOG IDOL fame. Then during the Freeway Blogger show Lon lost all appearances of being able to be unbiased.

Guys your credibility is slipping away. Ah, but then I am just a nut who must be stupid how else could I be offended when someone seeks to blaspheme my God with deliberate intent. I mean why else would a man use the name of Jesus so much when he clearly doesn’t believe in Jesus? Why else except to offend people? Yet because the people he is offending are just us dumb Christians it okay!

I bet this comment gets dumped because it isn’t a glowing endorsement.

  20. Steve Meltzer Says:

Thanks to Loren and Conrad for visiting. I think the story is great and I enjoyed working with Shel.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

    Steve Meltzer
