Nice. Great episode.

Not a big theme park fan. I like to hear about things that might help me or make me LOL in my “daily” life. Leah has good interviewing skills.

Krustyland looks like a Fun place.
June 12th, 2008 at 8:08 am
I thought it was a rollercoaster. The fact that it replaced B2TF means I can probably ride it without being a nervous wreck ;-)

the blackness at the end had me feeling antici …….

Hey Everybody!
Thanks for watching this morning! Seriously, this ride is so much fun! I highly, highly recommend it! If you sit in the last row, back left corner you get the best riding experience–I definitely got thrown around a bit!
Ciao!
Leah

i liked the interview. would have been cool to see people’s reaction to the ride.
leah does a great job, she is very natural in front of the camera.

Yeah what’s with the bonus bit at the end?
June 12th, 2008 at 11:06 am
I wish Back to the Future was still there :’(
June 12th, 2008 at 11:46 am
I was also fond of the Back To The Future attraction, but the movie that played with the ride was more than a little hokey. It had you flying town the throat of a T-Rex…? Alas, out with the old and in with the new.
Keep up the good work, Leah. What I want to know is why her name isn’t in the title yet.

I think Leah has earned the right to have her name on the “Mahalo Daily” sign in the show’s logo. Veronica’s name was up there, now it’s time to get Leah’s name flying high.

I think we’ll take the kids this summer. Thanks for the info……

Another terrific podcast.. Leah really knows her way around an interview. Very informative and I like the fast facts graphics at the bottom of some of the scenes..
It sure made me want to experience the ride for myself ~
thanks for the entertainment..

I was hoping their ride would be inspired by the fat comic book guy. In the ride you could just sit around in your underwear and pick dorito crumbs out of your belly button. that would be awesome.

I agree I think that in the Mahalo Daily Logo it should say…
Mahalo Daily with Leah DeMilio and Lon Harris
June 13th, 2008 at 3:43 pm
Missed this one yesterday. Caught it today (Fri. the 13th), and the (real) ending too. I used to work for Universal. Was sad to see BTTF go. Informative, Fun stuff.
I have to say, I missed Lon in this episode. I’ve come to look forward to his irreverent, intelligent sense of humor.

This ride is a lot of fun, but be careful!! I ended up at the chiropractor with a good case of whiplash!!!!!!!! OUCH!!!
June 13th, 2008 at 4:08 pm
Okay Jason – I agree with the masses. It’s time to get Leah’s name in the title sequence. She’s earned it. And I believe you should have a secondary drop when Lon is on as well. He’s not a bit player anymore. His fan base is expanding and he deserves the recognition.

Ok, so I havent really listened to much Mahalo Daily.
I came to see what it was like when it first started and lost interest.
I wasnt a teenage geek lusting for the high school looking host, didnt like the voice and just moved on.
Could be her; I stopped listening to Tekzilla…technically i pushed it to the bottom of my list..
But then that annoying boss of yours started appearing on Twit almost every week and I finally came to see a few weeks later when I was surfing the net.
I think there was something about the show having some Idol like contest but I quickly blocked it out as the words Idol make my skin crawl but here I am. Not too sure who these people are, where they came from or what they know but I saw the last few shows and I gotta say, its not bad.
Its not a geek show but Mahalo is a search engine.
There is still something missing *and Im not just talking the web 2.0 spartan look of the site, but I have to say they were fun, bouncy shows.
The girl is hot (new hairdo is excellent), they keep her talking to a minimum and she doesnt distract with perkiness a la Del Conte. I dont get Dom Deluise’s appeal but then again, he doesnt annoy me so at least there is the chance that he will grow on me.
This isnt a glowing report but I will come back again, something I didnt do the first time around.
BTW, that krustyland thing looked so cheezy.

I am defiantly going to Universal to ride this! Thanks for the review!!! :)
September 8th, 2008 at 4:16 pm
This was the worst experience of my life. You are stuck with a bunch of people in this little chair that moves around but not in sequence with the screen, no wind or air blowing like a real coaster. I was furious when I walked out after the ride!!!!!

This is great stuff, thanks for having the blog and putting details like this video on it. Those of us with no writing or video skills really appreciate it. Believe me. I love that you’re providing all of these stimulating and informative videos. Thank you for that.
This ride looks interesting, but I think it is more for the little ones than the teen crowd.

I’ve been reading about the issue with the simpsons and ‘bart’ promoting scientology. Was checking to see if anyone else had any comments on the ‘issue’. I don’t much like it myself, but also do not care to judge.

The sun is one major external factor that can do damage to your skin. When you get too much sunlight it will damage the free radicals. Another factor is cigarette smoke which will make your skin lose its texture and sheen. It also reduces the blood flow in your skin which is vital to your skin

You have a great writing style.I came across your blog from Bing and thought it rocked. How long have you been writing on the internet?Just the other day I recently created a blog on my own and its been a really fun process. I’ve met some new people since then although it can be boring sometimes! Anyway, much appreciated for your blog post!
