Great late birthday present. Awesome episode…really close to home for me…I used to go to Santa Monica pier when I was younger. I really love Mahalo Daily in fact I actually got my birthday cake from a place I found out about in one of Veronica’s episodes, Vanilla Bake Shop, an absolutely awesome place to get cake! As I heard said on Woot! one day, “I have full access to the man on the street at any time, and there’s a reason I don’t ask him for his opinion.” Or something like that. Those quotes are really just there for show.
Once past that though, not too bad. It’s taking about a day to load though.

Leah’s been my choice since early on, though I’ve been waiting for her to truly let her hair down. I think she showed her abilities in her video parody and now that the competition is over (the pressure is off) she is free to be herself. I thoroughly enjoyed today’s episode and am looking forward to many many strange, interesting, informative, and fun shows to come from Leah and Lon (a highly entertaining and underappreciated personality).

It was good. I especially like the chemistry between these two. I think this transition period was necessary as some people only started watching MD due to Beronica Velmont and her spectacular quirkiness. She is going to be a hard act to follow but I think you have the right person. With the contest it allowed for a “bumper” of sorts to allow for a graceful transition and to allow us to get to know Leah before we invest more time into MD.

The episode was okay. Best part was the actual interview about the ferris wheel. The first part where she was asking people, “do you know where you are?” had me thinking “WTF kind of question is that?” I also have no idea what Leah said before that short glowing moment.
I think Leah will make a fine host, but they seriously need to stop with the “Vlog Idol” references. Just give me a good solid episode, like the capoeira one. Don’t want to come off too negative here because I think everything is still on track. It would certainly be a little more fun to have Leah’s name in the title where it belongs.

Great first episode! The chemistry between L&L completely works. We got the right host for sure.

Cool episode. I watch Veronica over at Revesion3’s TekZilla. Thought it was funny to see Veronica’s name in the end credits logo. Need to replace it with Leah and give her an opening credit name. Maybe they’ll make her “earn” it in another episode or something. Awesome podcast.

Very nice. I’ve been rooting for Leah from the beginning, and I think she’s going to do very well. No one can replace Veronica, but Leah will make this show her own in short order, and I will be tuning back in every episode. I look forward to getting back to a few Mahalo-centric shows.

I’ve been hoping Leah would win from day 1. She and Lon did a great job on this episode, but I agree with the others; it’s time to stop with the VLog references.

Not good at all. Ever since MD lost Veronica it has lacked creativity and intellect- something that Veronica had.
The Vlog Idol was a joke along with this episode. It reaks of inuendo- the lowest form of comedy. Can we please have jokes and dialogue relevant to the topic?
The writers need to find Leah’s new voice- this comes off as more of a high school production.
