MD068 – Segway LA’s X2 and I2

<-- View our previous episode!

You may have thought the Segway was fading slowly into the night, but that’s definitely not the case. The transportation device is picking up stream, with new models and a growing culture. While they’re extremely easy to use and a load of fun to ride on, it’s important to remember that they’re not a toy. Think Steve Wozniak will let us join the Segway Polo League now?

why is there not a subscribe link for the M4V WITHOUT having to do extra steps in iTunes. Not everyone who uses iTunes/iPod to watch/listen to podcasts use it as thier podcatcher. There are much better options for podcatchers that integrate with iTunes.

    I hate having to:
    1) click an iTunes link to get to the iTunes store page for the podcast.
    2) then click subscribe to the podcast.
    3) cancel the download of the item that started being downloaded
    4) go to the podcasts section of iTunes
    5) click the little information icon
    6) retype the URL from there (since you cant copy it to clipboard) into my podcatcher

I *SHOULD* be able to :
    1) right click on the link on a page, and select copy
    2) paste into the entry box in my podcatcher.

I love the show, and been subscriber (to wrong feed – I had the http://daily.mahalo.com/feed/) since the beginning. I started getting some shows on MP3 and some videos that would not transfer, some that would. My podcatcher is set to get only last three items so depending on what was posted last (mp3, mov, m4v) was what I got. I finally decided to see if you have special links for each type and found you did but I had to go through the long process instead of the easy one.

    Thanks for reading my rant.

Those Segways are weird… I saw those in Sweden many years ago…
I wish that I could try those someday somewhere.

I agree, I thought the Segway craze would die down, it seems with gas prices on the rise, more and more people are looking for cheaper transportation. Even cab fare and bus tickets are increasing.

I picked up a used segway from http://www.strictlysegway.com . I plan on using it for my short trips around town.
