MD059 – Green Clothing

<-- View our previous episode!
Avita Co-Op in LA has many beautiful and stylish clothes, but the biggest fashion trend they’ve hit upon is definitely green. Yes, all of their clothes are either made from recycled or sustainable materials, and their cuteness does not suffer from it one bit! As we learned last week with Toms Shoes, an outfit can also give something back!

Wow, the store owner seems so insincere about caring the environment. Garbage.

Veronica- I love this story. We are paying so much attention to hybrids and global warming, but we can be green in clothes as well!
Buying well crafted clothes that you can ‘hand me down’ is awesome for the environment because we save carbon emissions manufacturing new ones, and landfill space as well!
