Merci beaucoup. :D It was the greatest Mahalo Daily ever!!!
February 12th, 2008 at 4:44 am
thanks for your work, I like it a lot!
I especially like the place where thoughts and realism are sold, but I never found (or heard about) any fighting grandmas!
And concerning the Poesie, it is excellent, thanks again :)
February 12th, 2008 at 4:55 am
February 12th, 2008 at 6:44 am
Thanks. That was great fun and it’s art! ;-)

Bravo Véronique !
The photography and the style is just right…
The nezz (normally pronounced le nay) was particularly cute.
The stereotypical cigarette-smoking French was also cute. You might be interested to learn that since January 1st, 2008 smoking is now forbidden just about everywhere public here in France (including bars, restaurants and cafés)… We’re going to have to come up with a new stereotype… we’ll keep the beret, the striped shirt (especially with Jean-Paul Gaultier making it so popular), the baguette and the glass of red wine. But the cigarette will now only work outside…
I love the end where the credits say “Craft Services” and the audio says “the guy who supplied the food”!
Merci !
February 12th, 2008 at 10:42 am
February 12th, 2008 at 11:11 am
Lovely seeing you speaking french Veronique.
Moreover, excellent old “yé yé” musical selection and I realy like the Godard-esque realisation. Well, it’s France from the 60’s but still, love it.
Nico, genuine french product since 1979.
February 12th, 2008 at 11:52 am
The French New Wave and The Criterion Collection.
Brava.
February 12th, 2008 at 11:56 am
Wow, that was really good. I’ve got to remember to shoot more in black and white.
Very creative guys.
Well done.

Awesome! Very creative. I love it.
February 12th, 2008 at 12:24 pm
Awesome. Veronica is a perfect Anna Karina (accept for the accent, LOL). Huh, no Mahalo page on Jean-Luc Godard?

February 12th, 2008 at 1:47 pm
February 12th, 2008 at 2:17 pm
Hohoho (laughing in french, versus hehehe which is in english), c’est tres tres bien.
j’aime le film.
Yeah, i took three years of french and this is all i can remember, lol.
But yes, pretty awesome clip.
February 12th, 2008 at 3:30 pm
That was both inspiring and great to watch. Keep up to the great work.

Excuse me not to translate my comment but it’s just silly things and I’m a lazy French.
Excuse me too for that approximative translation….

Wow. Freaking wow. Now that was Outstanding! Brilliant.
February 12th, 2008 at 4:17 pm
Really nice!
February 12th, 2008 at 4:21 pm
February 12th, 2008 at 4:25 pm
References to the Criterion Collection and the French New Wave!
Brava.
February 12th, 2008 at 4:25 pm
It made me smile… Darn Quebecois, should never be allowed to teach french to anyone!
February 12th, 2008 at 4:38 pm
Sometimes we want to be good looking, sometimes we want to be funny.
You achieved both at once.
This Mahalo was a masterwork. Thanks from a french guy.
February 12th, 2008 at 5:24 pm
Ah Andy Kaufman estuvo en este episodio. ¿Pensé que él estuvo muerto?
¡Gran episodio por la manera!
February 12th, 2008 at 7:25 pm
Spot on. Anyone who took courses in French film will recognize how perfectly executed this is. And it has Veronica Belmont in it too. Too much to ask for in a short film, yet delivered anyway.
February 12th, 2008 at 7:34 pm
Nice! Next time don’t hesitate. I’m always ready for this kind of joke…
February 12th, 2008 at 8:15 pm
Awesome Veronique Belmont !
Actually that surename is quite French, c’est parfait !
February 12th, 2008 at 8:51 pm
Oh girl… your French was so good. ^_^ you should keep it up. Is there ANYTHING you aren’t good at?!
February 12th, 2008 at 9:30 pm
Best Episode Ever!
I can haz more Veronique Belmont?
Vous etes tres tres bien! <–My lame attempt at French that I learned in a Canadian school system.
February 12th, 2008 at 10:15 pm
That was awesome – Someone’s been watching too much New Wave.
February 13th, 2008 at 3:13 am
D*mn it sound nice when Veronica speaks French :-P
I learned many good French phrases from this episode.
February 13th, 2008 at 8:30 am
February 13th, 2008 at 9:30 am
It’s nice not to hear the regular Mahalo Daily opening song. But Veronica is just so cute.
February 13th, 2008 at 9:40 am
This was an interesting episode since everything was different from the previous ones. The main guy during the commentaries didnt leave a chance to the others and kept interupting everyone else to say the same thing, I thought it was very funny.
I ve been checking the show since it started and more episodes like this would make it really stand out from the others.
But we need to see some bloopers !
February 13th, 2008 at 10:59 am
Tres fantastique! I loov very much your, how you say? Veedee-o? As my english no is very good, I cannot say more, but C’est Magnifique!
February 13th, 2008 at 5:40 pm
That’s some convincing and enticing acting, Veronica. I almost thought you could speak French.
February 13th, 2008 at 7:19 pm
Some of the pronunciations were also off like “le nez.” The “z” is silent. Other than a few mistakes, c’etait merveilleux.

Awesome, as always. But this post in particular. Yeah, some pronounciation was off, but who cares. Oh, and the best part was the commentary. The CGI rain and the eating of a ‘Blueberry Muffin’ had me in stitches. Excellente ma belle fille, et toute l’équipe d’ailleurs.
February 16th, 2008 at 6:02 pm
February 17th, 2008 at 9:51 am
Merci beaucoup Véronique Belmotte & Mahalo.
I spent time in France in 1974.
My daughter is now learning the French language.
Now I have to relearn it too.
February 22nd, 2008 at 8:33 pm

March 16th, 2008 at 3:09 am

Can the producers of this show consider providing other video formats for download, like WMV, MP4, AVI, etc?
Not everyone uses an iPhone or Quicktime. Most of your mobile market is not Apple.
