MD030 - Tay Zonday Interview
Tay Zonday and his hit viral video Chocolate Rain rocked the internet last year with its catchy melody and quirky style. Written and recorded by Tay, Chocolate Rain has spawned countless parodies, including a tribute performance by John Mayer. We were lucky enough to sit down and talk with Tay, who was gracious enough to perform one of his hits for us, Internet Dreams.

Great interview. The song made me laugh and brought me to the verge of tears (in a good way). It reminds me of the Blues Brothers in a way, you’re not sure whether to take it seriously as music, or laugh at the presentation. Either way it’s entertaining. Go Tay!

The funniest thing about M.D. is Tyler constantly crediting himself as both the executive producer and one of the producers. Dude - you’re one or the other, you can’t be both president and vice-president. You just make yourself look silly.
(Not as silly as Scoble always makes himself look, but that’s another story.)
